Beginner? You're absolutely welcome. This 3-level challenge is designed to support all skill levels, from formula newcomers to seasoned Excel pros. You’ll start with a simple task and level up gradually.

You'll basically write formulas to populate this report:

Sound easy? You haven't seen the data yet! The data gets increasingly messy (aka, realistic) as you proceed! Can you handle all 3 levels? Don't worry if you get stuck along the way ... I'll send a follow up video with a variety of solutions so you can pick the best approach for any situation you encounter!

  • Excel for Windows is recommended. Excel for Mac is fully supported.

  • Estimated time: 15–30 minutes per level — go at your own pace.
